Steven Titch is an independent policy analyst focusing on telecommunications, Internet and information technology. He is an associate fellow at the R Street Institute and a policy advisor to The Heartland Institute. He is a former policy analyst at the Reason Foundation. He has published research reports on cybersecurity, network neutrality, municipal broadband. His columns have appeared in Investor’s Business Daily, the Washington Examiner and the Houston Chronicle.
Steve also was co-founder and executive producer of Security Squared, a business-to-business Web publication covering IT convergence in physical security and surveillance. Previously, Titch was editor of Network-Centric Security and director of editorial projects for Data Communications magazine. He also has held the positions of editorial director of Telephony, editor of Global Telephony magazine, Midwest bureau chief of Communications Week, associate editor-communications at ElectronicNews.
When not keeping up with technology, Steve enjoys cycling, camping, movies, jazz and poker.
